hmm

So I sit here today and my ankle is killing me. I sprained it 3 weeks ago during my soccer game, apparently my brain decided to try to kick the ball INTO the ground rather than above it. After the game it turned all angry and purple looking so I decided to punish it by trying to play again last week, which didnt turn out so well. The flaming ball of hurt re-asserted itself and now my shoes don't fit properly. So thats awesome!

Work is going well, my boss finally had my annual evaluation talk with me (about last year)... in fucking APRIL.

Anyway, it went well. He told me I singlehandedly saved the company from the brink of destruction and that all would be futile without me. Then I woke up. Overall it was fine, it looks like I will be working toward a management path.. although it really is a farce because I'm not gonna be working here for more than 5-6 more years. But whatever, its fun pretending!

I am also trying to get a Six Sigma project started. For those of you who don't know what that is, let me explain. Basically it is a bunch of people who say, "HEY! THE WAY WE DO THIS IS NOT SMART!! LET US TRY TO FIND A BETTER WAY!!" And then they spend lots of time following "processes" and "examining" and "identifying" solutions. In the end its just a bloated brainstorming process that culminates in everyone getting a tattoo of an overused barmaid on their arm. I can't wait.

It was 90 degrees here yesterday and that made me so sick I almost punched someone. I mean really, can't you wait until at least MAY?
