To spoil all the drama, I was too late to even *think* about buying the restaurant. By three weeks. Apparently 3 weeks ago the owner was unsure if he wanted to keep the business or sell it and was exploring his options. Then apparently after much deliberation he decided he would instead do a complete renovation and offer two other kinds of food (thai and japanese).

And so ends my short-lived foray into the restaurant business. HA!
