Here we go again

Formerly a riveting tell-all blog following the life of one very real college graduate through his trials and tribulations in the corporate environment. Now a not-so-riveting collection of garbage interspersed with amusing funnies and spots of humor

Can it really be this easy?

As I sit here sipping on the coffee someone else made, I reflect on my journey since I started working here last May. Graduating college was a big moment in my life and I was under the impression that I would then leap into the working field and make oodles of money and feel satisfied and fulfilled.

Well I am in the working field. And people, I'm not sure if I just landed the cushiest job ever, but work is BORING. Now don't get me wrong, it doesn't bother me one bit to get paid what I do (or don't do), but I really thought there was more to it than this.

For example, I played holdthebutton.com yesterday, and I had a score of 37min; it wasn't longer only because I reached for a snack in my cubicle and accidentally moved the mouse. I am running out of things to do at work. I read the news, peruse myspace and blogspot, check my email constantly, and IM everyone and their mother.

I'm sure a lot of you are thinking, 'why doesn't he ask for work'; that will probably never happen. Reason being: I'm fairly sure I can get by with what I'm doing (brief aside: its not that I don't have any work, its just that I get it done a lot faster then most of the older guys around here, so I have more free time) and I enjoy relaxing at work.

Hit me up with your thoughts/comments or suggestions, if for nothing else to give me somethign to read!

Dude your blog so reaminds me of that tv series "The Office!" Oh man, I was nearly crying I was laughing so hard! You truly are the king-lord-and-master of holding the button. I tried but sadly I'm a but too ADHDish to commit to something of that magnitude for more than 10 seconds. Anyways, keep it up, you're freakin awesome!
